Instructor

Sistar Ashé

Sistar Ashé is passionate about making learning engaging, accessible, and academically challenging. Her experience spans elementary through high-school education in both fully remote and in-person settings, supported by a background in literacy instruction and curriculum enhancement.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Consumer Sciences and is CBEST/STEDI/CTC certified and permitted. At OLSFMC, she has guided virtual, multi-grade classrooms through university-level materials, encouraging students to think critically and engage deeply with complex subjects. She has also led a second-grade classroom in a public-school setting and worked extensively in community education programs serving diverse populations. Across these environments, Sistar Ashé enjoys fostering thoughtful, high-level conversations that challenge students while creating an engaging and meaningful learning experience.

As a student of love, truth, peace, freedom, and justice, Sistar Ashé strives to practice her community responsibility by contributing to its vision of progress from these five points of light. She carries out this work in honor of the legacy that Prophet Noble Drew Ali and his helpers left for the Moorish Americans of North, South, Central America and the adjoining isles.
